And what did we do? We thought it was our house alarm and turned it off, only to realize that it was the fire alarm, that soon afterwards, it turned itself off. And, hours later, we asked ourselves...if it had been our house alarm--or fire alarm--shouldn't we have sprinted to our children to rescue them from an intruder or fire? No, we would rather them sleep peacefully through the night.Lenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11037219891522063310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8087509985980178741.post-60044669432300431112011-11-06T17:45:09.609-08:002011-11-06T17:45:09.609-08:00Why isn't it "On"? I had to wake Jeff up and infuse him with my panic so he'd investigate. We spent half the night and never found anything suspicious either. Crazy. I am ashamed to admit that what I'd wear out to our rendezvous point WAS among my immediate thoughts too. Underwear aren't going to cut it -- even in an emergency!<br />Great photo, Drea!Kimi Louhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03169728630167776022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8087509985980178741.post-47529727922755659522011-11-04T11:25:35.005-07:002011-11-04T11:25:35.005-07:00Ours did that once last year! I think, though, that I would almost rather run outside in my unders than in my ratty disgusting red (yes, red--I don't know what I was thinking) robe. We decided the batteries were low one time. Mark had to climb up on a ladder and pull the battery out. And then we noticed it seemed to go off if it got extra cold. That is irritating though and deffinitely a 'heart racing' experience.Annettehttp://aomission.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
