You Might Be a Vampire If...

The redneckinest photo I ever posted

...until now.

Last night we went to McDonald's for dinner. Two visits in one year! It's becoming a habit for us.

We ate, I guess. I don't remember, because I was too busy handing out ketchup, and filling drinks, and wiping hands, and taking back Happy Meal toys until everyone stopped whining, and...well, you know the drill (you heard I have five children this week, right?).

Then we proceeded to the play area (but not before we succeeded in making as huge a mess as possible for the dear little employee assigned the job of cleaning up after us. Poor soul).

Ty sat, facing the jungle gym. I sat, facing Ty. Then I commenced Operation: Debrief on all my thoughts, feelings, and imaginings from the previous 12 hours. DEbrief, because it was the opposite of brief.

So unbrief that, in fact, it followed us home and threatened to consume us. Or at least Ty.

Luckily Ty stopped and ran in to get some movies (probably to escape the car, where I held him captive) before we got home.

That shut me right up.

Especially when I saw what movies he chose:

The Twilights. Both of them. Dead serious.

If you can't read minds, you might as well be able to make your wife laugh when she is stressed out and grouchy. Is what I always say.

Really? I am astonished. Did he watch them with you? Did he like them? Did you like them?

Just so you know, Little Miracle is Marianne. I'm at my sister's house and used her account to accidentally to make comments. By the way, I love your red neck pictures!

Oh I can't even imagine what 5 kids would be like. Hang in there girl! So, did you like them? The movies I mean, not the extra kids.

Is Ty holding a gun? I love that one of his pant legs is down and the other is bunched up above his boot.

I heard you were overtaken this last week with a few extra kiddos. But I am sure it was nice to be able to help out. Did your husband like the movies?

wow, that picture of Ty is priceless! I'm sure we'll have plenty to compete with it once we get to Arkansas. So...how did the two of you like the movies? Spencer is a guy who would do almost anything for a laugh or a rise of some sort. Except maybe renting the twilights.

wait.. I can't figure out if you like the twilight movies or not, so i don't know how to comment.. oh what the heck!
I haven't read the books with all of my gushing friends.. i have no doubt that i would get totally sucked in.. that's why i haven't read them. I just watch the movies and for some reason i eat them up.. ok, so the bella girl is the worst actress of all time, but hey, if edward likes her, she's ok in my book. Damian is a good sport and even took me to a theater full of women to see the second one. we laughed as the audience cheered at the wolf boy taking his shirt off. Anyway, i wish the last one would hurry and come out so that i can get on with my life.

I like the deer head in your house. very rustic. You are such a supportive wife. we can't even get away with flushing spiders down the toilet at our house, my kids are born animal rights activists (still trying to figure out where they inherited that personality trait.. i mean, i don't not like animals or anything) They pray for any critter that crosses their path, so we have to catch our spiders and set them free. it will be a dark day in the fink home when they find out we have an account with Clark Pest Control.

Oh my heck! That picture of Ty!!! Is he aware that you posted it for the world to see? I'm sure the picture of his elk on YOUR LIVING ROOM WALL makes up for it.

Did he get those movies to be funny? What the! That is funny. You probably needed a good laugh and a cheesy chick flick to calm your nerves.

Sounds like we need another movie review. Did you watch? What did you think? Just as I refused to read the books, I refuse to see the movies. But maybe (BIG MAYBE) they might provide some entertainment.
Were you able to laugh the stress of 5 kids off? Good luck to you!

I think he actually rented the twilight series because he wants you to keep the elk head in the living room. ;o) That is one MASSIVE trophy to be proud of (but not as proud as he should be of his trophy wife).

Was that picture of ty of him coming back from shooting the chickens? Funny!

Okay so that second picture made me laugh out loud! And herding 5 kids to McDonald's, you ARE a brave soul. Possibly my hero. Or crazy. Or both.

Regardless, I kinda love your husband. That is awesome. Mark has actually watched both of the with me and he didn't even hate the, Thought they were silly (which they are), but no hate. Which made me love him a bit more.

ps. It's Amber posing as Fab Frug. All undercover like. It's like I'm wearing a disguise or something.
