Lies, Lies, Lies, Yeah

I am so tired of all the lies, I'm just going to come right out with it. The second one (the one about the mustached lady and my daughter who couldn't keep her mouth shut) was fashioned from two nightmares, a constant worry that it will actually happen, and several most-embarrassing-moment-worthy comments made by said child. In other words, it was a lie. One of my most embarrassing moments is actually because of Samera, but there are certain things that I don't discuss on this blog. That is one of them.

The other two absolutely happened. Not only did they happen, but they happened on consecutive days: Cornbread Friday and Last Swimming Trip Ever Saturday, as we refer to them at our house. It was a humbling weekend.

Now, quickly, for the two people who guessed correctly, the first one to tell me who sings the song I quoted in this title, WINS (there's no prize, but you still win)!

But no googling.

Hahaha, it was to practical to be true.

Lies by the Thompson Twins

I'd be lying if I said I didn't google it.

Well, I can sing the song but I don't know who sings it, though at any given second I could ask Kendal and he would know. But, I won't tell cuz I didn't vote. See you sooooon!

Hey, at least it wasn't your brother in law that saw you at the pool. Those stories are hilarious, but you should know that i have been having nightmares. I'm glad you have lived through those experiences though so that we can all enjoy them. You're too funny! And that just sucks that you don't get to go see brian regan. I'm so sad for you:( You're so good to give it up to be where you've been asked to be.

Ok - it didn't take my first comment . . .anyhoo! That is soooooo funny but I am sorry that you had two embarrasing moments in one week. They make for some seriously funny stories!

Wow--same weekend!?!
You tricked me. I did not guess correctly. Always such fun! Can we play again? In fact, I would even love it if the game were just "truths truths truths" you know, a collection of Andrea's stories. That would be just as much fun.
