where are my jumper-cables?

I got nothin', but I don't want you to have to stare at my silly jacket for one more second! I'm starting to feel a responsibility toward my blog, like I have to keep it updated, which sometimes translates into stress, which always translates into coagulation of the creative juices. What does that mean? What do YOU do when your brain is stuck in neutral? I need some suggestions, please! Anyone have any hot topics they would like to discuss via me discussing them on my blog? Cause, like I said, I got nothin'!

How 'bout pictures of your homemade marshmallows along with the recipe. How 'bout a picture of your Christmas tree. How about what Samera is saying right now. How about just writing whatever is in your brain because whatever it is you can write it down and it will be entertaining.

I have tried (and failed) about 3 times to write a coherent blog about our societies inability to complement people. We are so quick to judge, to fly off the handle, to provoke road rage, to ask a man to "step outside" (what, you haven't ever done that?), or to belittle those around us because all too often that is accepted as the norm. It is often seen as powerful when we place ourselves above others. I just want to be able to walk up to a beautiful woman at the mall and tell her I love her coat without being accused of hitting on her. Anyway, that was my thought process that went nowhere. But I think it is an important topic, so can you take it and run with it....

As you probably noticed my blog is, and has been in need of a good "face lift" for a while now. I have nothing to offer the blogging world...sorry I can't be of more help. Hope you have a great Christmas and New Year!! We should really have a scrapbooking night sometime...really.

Pretty much anything you write is entertaining to me. Even this blog about how you "got nothin" was entertaining! So, I agree with Sharlee- whatever is on your brain will be just fine.

In answer to your question on my blog- will we see YOU there? I'm worried about this storm. I don't want our gathering post-poned! And I don't want some families to have to miss it. Pray hard tonight! I was so excited to see everyone! (Unfortunately, Joel won't be able to come, snow or no snow. Poo on work!)

Pictures of my kids are always my stand-by. You posted a cute one! I would love to see your Christmas tree too. Also, do you have any solutions for world hunger, the war in the Middle East, dependence on foreign oil, global warming or the dire state of our economy? Or maybe just, what did you get your hubby for Christmas? (Just for fun, not because I haven't got mine anything & need ideas. No way.)
