Holy Water, Batman!

Whether it be tears (heaven forbid he come in contact with water during a good ol' fashioned sprinkler run),

sprinkler-playing (bless the man who invented sprinkler systems),

trampoline-jumping during a rainstorm (goodness knows we've had our fair share this week...where'd the sunshine go?),

or big slobbery kisses (help me Moses, I love that man)...

...we aren't looking to dry out anytime too soon.

Here's wishing the same for you.

Happy Summer!

p.s. I WILL write an actual post, complete with mind-expanding conjectures and bafflingly profound observances as soon as I think of one. Any suggestions? Anyone?...Anyone?

Bueller?

I'm not picky.. I'll take words or pictures from you any day of the week :)

Your post are perfect just they way they are! No need for words when the pictures already speak a thousand words. (Is that the saying?)

I would love to provide you with inspirational idea's however, I currently lack inspiration (or maybe it’s ambition) in ALL area's of my life. If I ever find it I will be sure to share.

Reminds me so much of my childhood! Sprinklers, trampoline in the rain...not the tears, we were not allowed to cry, unless we wanted dad to "give us a reason to cry" (actually, come to think of it, it seems that the threat WAS the reason to cry.)
Anyway, it was lovely. I'm glad you guys are enjoying summer!

Thanks for your post. It reminded me that summer break is suppose to be FUN. My post for today would have been titled Holy Dread, just cuz it was the last day of school for my kids and they are now home for the summer. The first matter of business I dread is being the bearer of the "news" that they won't be playing video games all day every day and that there will be a list of jobs every day. Tomorrow I will dread the whining and complaining that go along with said rules. There is so much dread. But thanks to your post, I will try to put on a happy face and try to think of ways to have some fun with them too.
Hey! You got a tramp!

I love whatever you blog about. Your water adventures all look so fun. My family had a weenie roast on Monday and it started to rain, but instead of running inside we stuck it out and ate in the rain. It was really fun and made the experience even more memorable. There's nothing like a good rainstorm.

The currentlt singing "Rain, Rain, Go Away" here in King George. It's been really wet here, too. I'd like to start singing "Oh, Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on me!"

The museum is $7 for adults and $5 for kids. Kids under 2 are free. Let me know when you want to take your kids, and we'll tag along. Joel thought maybe if he went along next time I go that Noah won't be as scared. Joel is Noah's hero, as I think all dad's are to their kids. He always says that Joel will shoot dinosaurs or monsters or any other scary creature. Anyway, let me know.
