Random Break

My kids didn't have school yesterday or today.

Hooray!

There is nothing I like better than a little random break from regular schedules.

It has been all giggles and fights for the past 48 hours.

And overheard conversations that remind me that my babies are also Ty's babies.

I mean, of course they are. He is their father, after all. But sometimes it just hits me. Again.

You know?

For instance, at lunch today, Sy and Mera were rhyming. It quickly went from Samera/Sarah, Ruth/booth to made-up words, uncontrolled laughter, and spilled water.

Someone said, "Corn Helmet,"

and Sylas repeated,

"corn donut? Gross."

Samera was quick to jump in with,

"Yeah, it's a donut with corn in it. Want one?"

Sylas responded,

"No. Ewwww."

Samera pressed on,

"Two? You want two corn donuts?"

and on and on and on.

I don't know where the conversation ended cause I was texting Ty:

These babies are just like u. They tease each other all day long. It is hilarious/ridiculous. Just like u. I'm glad our babies are yours.

And I really meant it.

That is sweet!

And I just read through all your posts that I missed, and, as usual, they're so fun! I never tire of telling you what a good writer you are.

Reminds me of Bjorn and Isaac's conversations, only theirs are much grosser! Instead of "corn donut", they would say "poop donut." Anything and everything about poop. And they think it's hilarious! They are such boys!
